BWF has created a collective space in Indianapolis for healing, creativity, and organizing. The nonprofit organization was founded on August 3rd, 2023 by Erreol Morgan.
Since our powerful launch to the community on October 14, 2023, BWF has sought to be a safe harbor for Black women, women who serve as the glue to our families and the communal thread throughout our neighborhoods. Each month, we gather either virtually or in person to focus on specific topics that support well-being and cultivate strategy to help meet our community’s needs.
Black Women of Faith, Inc. represents Black women who are the "backbone" of Black congregations making up more than half of congregants nationwide. Black women are the pulse of democratic voting and are the staples in Black communities.
Black Women of Faith, Inc. is developing a new narrative of healing, faith, empowerment, and dignity. By providing tools to rebuild and rebrand our own lives, families, and communities, Black women can organize, strategize, and draft political policies that impact our demographic and help develop a sustainable future for generations to come.
